The demographic dividend of any country directly stimulates its growth. The government of Grenada works to provide adequate skills to the youth while promoting their creative bent. Public expenditure on education and vocational training as a percentage of total government expenditure is higher than a number of countries in the Caribbean region. The country is nurturing a well-trained and qualified workforce with Caribbean Vocational Qualification (CVQs). St. Georges University is the largest medical university in the world, that provides for a number of allied health and non-medical courses that include ICT & Business. In addition to this, the University of West Indies campus and the TAMCC community college actively work to produce a skilled and knowledgeable workforce. In addition, hundreds of scholarships are given out each term to Grenadians to study in the US, UK, India, China, and other countries who in turn create a stimulating workforce on their return.

Grenada is known for its beaches as well as ports. By preserving the coastline and biodiversity, the Grenadian government is promoting the tourism and hospitality sector of the country. Grenadian beeches are consistently ranked in the top 5 beaches in the world. Grenada has excellent port facilities. All commercial ports are currently owned by the Government of Grenada and managed by the Grenada Port Authority. The port operates a container park & bond storage facilities, equipped forklift trucks, tractor trailers, stackers, top lifts, modern cranes among others. The country has regular shipping links with major ports in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia, and is served by five international shipping lines.

Grenada is blessed with untapped natural resources. Agriculture plays a key role in the economy, and agrarian exports have grown rapidly in the past decade. Known as the “Spice Isle”, Grenada also produces the worlds finest cocoa, highly sought after by global confectionary giants and chocolate connoisseurs alike. Till recently, Grenada was the largest producer of nutmeg and mace. Not just that, it ranks #1 in the US FDA HACCP list for world’s best fishes. With expansion in agriculture sector, Grenada offers a plethora of opportunities with little competitions. The diverse flora and fauna of the country have given a major boost to the economy.
