Senator the Honourable Norland Cox is a member of the Upper House of the Parliament (The Senate) in and is the Minister for Youth Development, Sports, Culture and the Arts.
Minister Cox holds a Diploma in Animal Health & Veterinary Public Health. He is pursuing a Professional Development Certificate in Parliamentary Practices and Procedures at Mc Gill University in Canada and a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Studies at the University of the West Indies.
Minister Cox worked as a Civil Servant in the field of Agriculture for fifteen years, focusing on Agriculture Extension work in the area of Crop and Livestock production. He served as the Health Services Administrator at the Princess Royal Hospital in Carriacou for two (2) years where he managed the Sister Isles’ lone hospital improving it's operational standard and services while building strategic partnerships that continue to exist today. Due to his excellent leadership and improvement at the Princess Royal Hospital, he was then called to serve in the Parliament of Grenada.
He has a strong passion for serving people and is dedicated towards national development with a focus on youth development through empowerment and education.
