Christopher Nelson is an attorney-at-law and Director of Public Prosecutions in the Office of Director of Public Prosecution (ODPP). He was called to the Grenada Bar in October 1990 and joined the ODPP as a Crown Counsel in the same year.
In January 2004, Christopher was promoted to Senior Crown Counsel and on February 1, 2001 appointed as Director of Public Prosecutions. He had conduct of many high profile cases such as the extradition of Fazal Sayied from the UK and his murder trial, and the resentencing of thirteen persons convicted of the murder of Maurice Bishop and others.
In July 2015 Christopher was called the Inner Bar.
