The Schools Orchestra Program is tailored for students at secondary schools, but includes primary school students as well. The program began September 2001. Many young persons from secondary and primary schools and the communities have been taught to play woodwind and brass instruments and have moved on to play in the National Schools Orchestra; earned music certificates; and, established music careers. Once a month, participants come together for a general rehearsal.
