"SEED" Elderly Payments To Be Made At Home
ST. GEORGE'S GRENADA, March 16th, 2020: The Ministry of Social Development, Housing and Community Empowerment, hereby informs Beneficiaries of the Support for Education Empowerment and Development Programme (SEED) that payments to beneficiaries age 60 and over will be made at individual homes until further notice.
The adjustment in the payment process is a bid to exercise social distancing and to protect our senior citizens against the potential threat of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Payments to beneficiaries over 60 will begin this coming Thursday 19th, will continue on Friday
20th March and will then resume next Monday 23rd 2020.
The Ministry is also trying to make alternative arrangements to have payments made to other beneficiaries during the same period and will inform the public as soon as confirmation is made.
The Ministry of Social Development, Housing & Community Empowerment reminds beneficiaries and the General Public that payment of the SEED Grant will be made during the third week of every month. unless otherwise advised by the Ministry.
