Regular Scholarships Processed Annually

SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS APPLICATION DEADLINE
SGU Pre Medicine 5 awards annually opened to students in the 3rd year of study.  Covers tuition only October 31st
SGU Medicine 16 awards annually which cover tuition only for the four year duration of study   October 31st
SGU Veterinary Medicine 1 award annually covering tuition only October 31st
SGU Masters in Public Health 2 awards annually covering tuition only October 31st
SGU Arts and Science 60 awards annually covering tuition only.  These awards are processed in two batches annually – January and August   November 15th (January intake) June 15th (August intake)
SGU Masters in Business 14 awards annually covering tuition only July 15th
Commonwealth UK

Scholarships offered by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission for Masters and PhD programmes only.  Four (4) nominations invited annually.  Scholarships are fully funded covering airfare, tuition, accommodation, subsistence allowance, thesis grant.

Candidates compete against applicants from other Commonwealth countries and awards are not guaranteed.

October 15th
China Undergraduate Awarded annually and are fully funded.  The number of awards may vary from year to year. February 20th
China Masters Scholarship opportunities are open in diverse study areas. April 27th  
Cuba 5 awards in Medicine annually.  Other areas are known upon receipt of notice from Cuban Government.  Scholarships are fully funded by Government of Cuba and stipend of USD 1500 per annum by Government of Grenada Varies depending on receipt of notice
Organisation of American States

Two year programmes open for undergraduate and graduate study.  Four (4) nominations invited annually.  Scholarships are fully funded covering airfare, tuition, accommodation, subsistence allowance, thesis grant.

Candidates compete against applicants from other Commonwealth countries and awards are not guaranteed.

Deadline varies during 1st quarter
Economic Cost

Bursaries amounting to 80% of tuition payable to the University of the West Indies.  These bursaries are funded by Government of Grenada on behalf of new and continuing students in all areas except Law and Medicine.

The grant of Economic Cost is done in keeping with an annual budget.  Selection is therefore done according to national needs.

 
Island Scholarships 6 awards funded by the Government of Grenada annually to graduates of TAMCC in the fields of Natural Science, Social Sciences, Humanities, Business Studies, Information Technology and Technical Vocational Education & Training (TVET).
