Climate Change Health

Implementation of the District Health Information System (DHIS2)

The implementation of the District Health Information System (DHIS2), developed and made freely available by the University of Oslo, Norway, enables health authorities to monitor the incidence of climate- sensitive diseases, including the early identification of new diseases outbreaks. Improving and digitalizing the flow of health data improves the overall capacity to plan for and respond to climate-related health risks.
