Obtain an Allied Health Professional Practitioners Certificate

Service Information

Allied health professionals wishing to practice in Grenada are required to apply and obtain a valid Practicing Certificate

Pre-requisites

Users need to register and become part of the Grenada Medical & Dental Council before obtaining a Practicing Certificate. Individuals need to Register themselves with the council using the same form by paying an additional fee

Process Steps

Note: Application submitted without the complete set of supporting documents required or application fee will not be processed. Any additional documents requested should be submitted within 14 days. The processing time for each application will take a minimum of four (4) weeks subject to the submission of all required documents and Due Diligence clearance.

  1. Firstly, users need to register as a Citizen or as a Visitor to apply for this service.
  2. Download the Grenada Allied Health Professional Application / Renewal Form.
  3. While filling the form, indicate if yours is a New Application, or is one for Renewal (Note: Renewal is required once every 3 years). Tick all that applies. Sign the undertaking and the form at the bottom
  4. Upload the filled form and additional certificates and documents listed below
    1. Two passport size photographs
    2. Evidence of nationality, copy of first two pages of passport
    3. Notarized copy of Degree, Diploma, Course Certificate and available Post-Graduate
    4. Degree.  All documents must be in English or translated by a registered public interpreter and certified by a Notary Public
    5. Curriculum vitae (Resume)
    6. Notarized copy of current registration and or practicing license
    7. Two letters of moral character reference, one professional and one personal
    8. Certificate that no legal action was taken or pending against you from current Registration Board/Council
    9. Medical certification of fitness to work
    10. Evidence to prove competency in English Language, both verbal and writing skills (for Non-English speaking persons)
    11. Evidence of indemnity coverage applicable in Grenada.  (This is not applicable for persons who provide voluntary services duly sponsored by Civil Service Organization, Faith Based Organization and Non-Governmental Organizations)
    12. Police record/certificate from places resided within last five years

National & Regional Credentials: $105 Non refundable
International Credentials: $205

Registration Fee:
Nationals/Citizens: $300
Non-nationals: $400

License to Practice: $300 (every three years)
